Dosing with the FGB MECS
We have developed the GRAVIMIX Easy Clean System dosing systems for the efficient and precise dosing of dry and free-flowing thermoplastic materials. The emphasis here has been on being able to switch quickly between materials, so we have developed a simple cleaning system. As a result, this machine is extremely user-friendly and has been developed with the science of the field in mind.

The FGB MECS is supplied as standard for dosing up to 4-6 components. The units are made entirely of stainless steel, and the removable funnels are fitted with newly designed vertical dosing slides. The unique mixing chamber with integrated mixer and closing slide is fully removable. This version can also be expanded with our transport system, which has the same characteristics. This ensures a complete solution.
Due to the constant dosing accuracy, the percentage of additives can be reduced to a minimum without compromising the quality of the end product. In addition, this machine can be expanded with the FerlinBridge, which allows all consumption data to be linked to, for example, an MES system. This gives you grip, insight and control over the material consumption during the production process. More information can be found in the FerlinBridge brochure.
With the Easy Clean System, it is no longer necessary to dismantle the hopper to remove the hopper. This is done without tools. So it is ideally suited in an environment where materials are changed regularly. In addition, there is a level sensor outside the mixing chamber that monitors the total cycle. This makes it possible to reduce the percentage of additives to a minimum, resulting in economic advantages.
